CAROL FRAN, AN AMERICAN SWAMP POP ICON
Carol Fran’s story is one of inspiration, triumph over adversity and hope. It is a story of our culture and music history through the eyes of an 80-year-old African American woman who lived it and survived it. She is one of the institutions of Blues Americana and one of the last living artists who shaped the unique “Swamp Blues and Pop” sound of South Louisiana.
